Hijackthis.exe is a very powerful program originally developed by Merijn Bellekom and now owned by Trend Micro. Hijackthis can be used to scan certain parts of your registry and hard drive and it will provide a log of what it finds. It is not for beginners. If you don’t know exactly what you’re doing you should not attempt to use it on your own to delete anything from your computer!
